We had no reservations, but as a party of 5 we were seated in less than 10 minutes. On a Friday night. In a beach town. This place has eclectic charm, and the newspaper-style menu just adds to it. The amount of selections was a bit overwhelming, only because everything sounded so good! If they don't have something that appeals to you, then you are beyond finicky. Our beverages arrived quickly (nice selection of beers), and some of the best Cream of Crab soup I've ever tasted arrived minutes later. Heaven in a bowl! Four of us ordered it, and all four loved it! Entrees arrived in just enough time to savor the soup (without having to rearrange the table), and everything was well-prepared and served hot. Our selections ranged from burgers/sandwiches to fish and chips, fish tacos, and seafood pasta. Every dish was delicious, and finished to capacity (yes, boxes were needed). Our server was excellent, checking in at appropriate times without hovering, making sure we had what we needed. Overall, we had a great dining experience. One tip -- order a cup of the crab soup, not a bowl; you'll have more room for a great meal!

Delicious crab legs. Sweet and not watered down. Crab imperial is good too. A little sketchy from the outside and was a little concerned taking the kids in but we all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere isn't bad either.

Horrible service, portions much smaller thAn previous years. Hit by obnoxious large party throwing food. Not recommended

Crabby Dicks is definitely a touristy place to go. It has a whole souvenir shop with their own CD's logo. They start your meal off with a basket of popcorn sprinkled with Old Bay seasoning. We ordered a fried shrimp basket, a seafood flatbread, an Admiral's Feast, and a mussels platter. The fried shrimp had a very heavy handed coating. It was tasteless. I would not recommend ordering it. The seafood flatbread is chopped shrimp and crab with garlic and mozzarella cheese. It was small. It had good flavor but would only fill a small appetite. The Admiral's Feast had crab legs which were very tasty. The corn and coleslaw was so-so. The mussels platter was meh. A good portion but the mussels were nothing to write home about. Go for the kitsch and not for the food.

The crab was oily and over done. The crab cake was good on the inside, outside marginal. The cold slaw was ok, but had very little taste. The sauce was way to full of pickles. The crab pasta tasted like Olive Garden I, e., sauce out of a can. And , it was the best thing we ordered. Overall: food weak and way to expensive, for the quality. Service: Morgan was very good Grade: C-

I have no complaints about the food. But of course I would have been able to sit and eat crabs for hours, but they put a time limit on the "all you can eat" crabs.. 2 hours! It's worth it for someone that's used to picking crabs. The biggest negative was that the sexual innuendos were just a little much. Crab balls with seamen sauce.. a whipped cream dick on the top of my desert... come on. DON'T BRING YOUR KIDS

Let me begin with what a Sangria is. I asked for one as a starter and I got a water down red liquid with one orange slice and a lemon on the side. It's their version of a sangria. I had them take it back it was a joke. Ordered the 6 middle neck clams raw looked more like little neck but it was good. Ordered their famous crab cake roll the best one yet. My family got the pasta and burger eh they were okay with it. My husband's steak was another joke mostly fat no meat. The atmosphere was fun and cute but food very mediocre. Can't beat the prices though. Nice to say tried it once and never again.

Crab soup......where's the crab meat? Crab balls were good Crab fluff small I'm a Marylanders and this is fair food. I probably will not be back. I will try the crab house across the street later.

One of my fave places to have a meal....love the atmosphere as it's more casual than others in the area. I usually sit at the bar and enjoy nice conversation with friends and the staff. My fave bartender and server there is Luz...she is always, always on point and is friendly and attentive! Great to come back to a restaurant and have someone remember your name. I recommend Monday night Burger night..can't go wrong with a delicious Angus burger with three toppings and chips. My bill is usually under $10 on those nights unless I decide to have a special drink. Crab balls and streamed crabs...delish!!! Lighten up folks...and give this place a try! You won't regret it.

Went to Crabby Dicks my first night of vacation in Rehoboth Beach. I got to the restaurant at about 8:30 p.m. and when I went in, the hostess kind of looked at me questioningly (not sure why, as I'm a mature gentleman and was neatly dressed) then finally asked if I was there for the lounge. I said no, that I was there for dinner...and again she gave me a strange look. I asked her if that was a problem and she said no and someone took me to a table. Just a strange way to begin my visit! I had "Fluff Crab" which was pretty good, but I wouldn't order it again...would probably get a traditional crab cake instead. Fries were good, but they have an off-brand ketchup on the tables that was terrible. The coleslaw was very good and obviously homemade. Bottom line...I loved the menu, found the food satisfactory, and my server was attentive (after the initial mishap with the hostess). I'd go back to try other menu items and hopefully increase my rating.

This is a silly restaurant! You will understand when you get here, there are a lot of silly puns around. Lots of fun decorations too. I give it 4 stars because I was very amused by the place. First we had some crab ball appetizers, then I had some excellent fish tacos made with fresh rockfish. Mmmmmmm! As a bonus since it was Dicks birthday we got a free piece of cake! Service was good and prices were not bad at all. Big souvenir shop is attached for more puns!

Went there with a pretty large party, and our waiter was really good. The food was just ok and was the typical chain seafood joint.

Had high hopes for this place but left with disappointment. First our server was also tending the bar so he didn't give us that much attention. The restaurant was pretty much empty so I don't even know why our hostess decided to seat us right next to the bar. It was loud and I just wanted to enjoy our late lunch. Our food took forever, more than 25 minutes. We ordered soup and salad as our appetizer so that shouldn't even have took that long! When I finally alerted another server about our food they finally went and checked and got our food. Our server was busy with the bar and eating behind the bar as I saw him. When the food all came it was blah for all that wait we had to do. Salad was gross and soggy. Soup and the mussels were okay. But the snow crab legs and shrimp were too dry and not as fresh. The corn and coleslaw also didn't even make the expectation. I won't be returning!

It was a Friday night so I will keep that in mind. Food was good had the cream of crab soup and it was amazing. Can honesty say best I ever had. The crab imperial was also great. Parking was tough and there wasn't many handicap spots but still well worth trying it out.

Good location and easy parking. Inside of the building felt dated. Server was one of the worst we had during our visit. We asked her about the specials that were posted out front and she told us they were all out dated. However we then overheard another server telling his table the same specials we read outside. Server did not know beer specials. Food came luke warm, but was pretty good in taste and quality. Server made a few errors likely because she didn't write anything down. Waitress didn't check on us the entire coarse of the meal. Forgot someone's drink too, so as you can imagine finishing the meal without a refill was painful. Overall I can imagine with the right service this place being good, but I can't suggest it after our experience.

    (2)
  • Jethro H.

So far, not so much. But, if your table says "Brad" on it, request another waiter. We were not told of any specials, we weren't allowed to request a different side for our food, until we asked in a different way that apparently made more sense. If the waitstaff is supposed to be crabby, he's got that down pat!!

Crabby Dicks is STILL one of the all around best restaurants at the beach. It's a real family restaurant!,AND they have a very nice bar with good flatscreen tvs. Live music often. The food is very consistent. Good beer selection. All the help is very friendly all the time. Seems like a tourist trap but it really is a good place to hang all year round. The Monday nite burger special at $5.99 is fantastic. And the Tuesday nite crab cake dinner at $10.99 is amazing. They have one of the best crab cakes down here - no filler, just fresh crabmeat well seasoned and a bit creamy. Go there as much as u can all year round. I hope mr. Yelp will publish this. They deserve it.

Great food! Love the Crab Pretzel and the Wings. The best popcorn and seasoning I have ever had. I had a taste of the Shrimp Bisque. Tatianna is a great and she has a wonderful personality! We met the GM (lady) on Saturday evening and we had a great conversation! I got to taste their Crab Bisque and it was out of control good! We were there April 3 and 4th and we were treated so good. Check it out! It's the best of the the Coastal Highway! Nadine & Natalie

Had lunch Memorial Day weekend. Great fish taco. My mom had the soft shell crab sandwich and was very happy with her choice The server was Sarah. We told her we were in a hurry and she saw to it that we got what we needed quickly. Recommend it

Great restaurant very close to the beach. The store (where you wait to be seated) is full of innuendos ranging from "Got Crabs?" to much more sexual shirts. The food was delicious. Definitely get crabs or crabcakes. The appetizers are also delicious. Get some balls!

Played in a baseball tournament with our 9 year old team at Sports At the Beach. We did an 11 family dinner there and the restaurant was very accommodating giving us a nice spot in corner of the place all to ourselves. The food was just okay. It was chain restaurant quality seafood....nothing more...nothing less. I ordered one of the steam pots and was pretty underwhelmed by it....lots of empty shells and not much flavor. It left me looking for more. Everyone pretty much had the same reaction....it was good....but not ..Oh wow...that was good...good. Everyone loved the Old Bay seasoned popcorn that they put out on the table....bought a few bags at the supermarket on the strip to bring home to Long Island! We are no prudes...trust us....but be forewarned if you have children that are old enough to read and at the age that they start "getting" the the meaning of stuff....the menus are written with very suggestive names and descriptions with double entendres...for example... Got Balls? Or semans sauce or It's better on top, etc... It was funny for the adults but made for some interesting conversations among the kids. The kids just loved saying....You got balls?

Crabs Balls and Hush Puppies!!!! - my wife screams from the other room " make sure you say something about those hush puppies- best ones Ive ever had-- the hush puppies and the crab balls !!" I will start there.... Crabby Dicks was a little down the road from our hotel and since we arrived seriously too early to check in we decided to get some seafood. My wife is sooo into crabs so the thought of a mound of soft shell crabs or crab sticks were practically a must for us... I loved the decor - I can always appreciate a fun decor - the walls lined with a nautical bar theme and a giant crab wench lady to take photos with ( ill add those later) The food - wait the drink- . It was Sunday so we were about to take advantage of their Mimosas and Berry Mimosas - Heaven!!!! we drank our lil hearts out on their back patio ( fyi : the other patrons were soo friendly... we were able to chat across the patio with another couple.. giggling and suggesting drinks.... amazing). The drinks were so fun and fresh and just the perfect size and price... about $3 each we had about six.. we were totally giggling.... The actual food... because we were giggling so hard and having such a wonderful start to our vacation I was able to sway my wife away from ordering some giant amount of crabs ( because secretly I have so much difficulty opening and enjoying them- she would have had to open both of ours.. no bueno ) We ordered the sampler of "balls" they were delicious - they give you an arry of Crab Balls, a Buffalo Chicken Balls , Pizza Balls, Hush Puppies and Corn Balls... OMG OMG the corn balls - I think i ate them all... They were soft with just the right amount of cheese.. these corn balls were lightly fried and made of sweet corn so they were just perfect... they came with a light honey mustard type dipping sauce - The Hush puppies... I actually did not got any.. my wife ate them all.. she says she loved them... loved them so much she barely had a moment to share - Amazing !!! she is a lover of hush puppies and she swears these are some of the best she has ever had..... overall the other balls were nice .. the Buffalo chicken were interesting because they also had blue cheese baked right in... I enjoyed them as well... I cannot say much about the pizza balls .. they were cute but not truly finished.. the cheese was not totally melted.... but overall we truly enjoyed this place.. Crabby Dicks has a rocking souvenir shop.. and if your looking to grab a hilarious but inappropriate tee shirt/sweatshirt.... check em out!!!!!

We were at a family event, and one night ventured a few miles outside of Rehoboth Beach to Crabby Dicks. The original location was in Fells Point MD. I'm not sure why the owners closed that location and moved to Rehoboth near the outlets, but this restaurant fits the area. They have a good time with the names and descriptions of the food, so relax and go with the flow. Old Bay flavored popcorn is served while you peruse the menu and order drinks. I had a good bowl of crab soup and a decent crab cake. Others ordered something you don't see often these days (and it's not on the menu). A hard fry. For those unfamiliar, this is a blue crab steamed, cleaned, stuffed with additional crab meat, batter dipped and fried. You won't walk away thinking that this place had the best food you ever ate, but you'll have a good time and enjoy the food as well.

  • Bill R.

Yeah the place totally plays off their gimmicky name and cutesy slogans on their sign, and much of the food is boring fried seafood. But if you really look through the menu there's some pretty good stuff too. Fun atmosphere. They also do very good steamed crabs if that's what you're looking for. Nicely seasoned and heavy. I've even replaced my home crab seasoning from Old Bay to their mix that they sell in the gift shop. Good service too.

We have eaten at this restaurant at least 3 times and I am shocked that I haven't reviewed it yet! This is a consistently good, child friendly fun restaurant. We have had: the crab cakes the steamed crabs (yummy) sauteed soft shelled crab crab pretzel artichoke dip All are very good. The service is tops and the bathrooms are very clean. The shop in the front is also lots of fun - plenty of novelty items.

We ate here with a group of 17. Beware coming here with a big group. It didn't work well. The meal took over 2 hours because service was so slow. They also couldn't (or wouldn't) split the bill for us, so paying at the end became a huge hassle. Food was also hit or miss. The style of cooking is really heavy. Lots of cream, butter, cheese makes for oily dishes. The crab balls, crab pretzel, and steamed crab were good. On the bad side though, my mashed potato side was cold by the time it arrived and cesar salad was just okay. I probably wouldn't come back.

We stopped in here for lunch on a Monday afternoon to check out the 5.99 burger. Not a bad deal and the burger was pretty tasty. You get 3 toppings so ours had bacon, mushroom and cheddar. And can add fries for .99. Also had the chicken pot pie. It was okay. There are better and worse out there. It didn't come with anything for 10.99. The deck is cute and probably cuter at night. Also inside is cute. Might be a good place to sit outside and have cheap drinks.

After a fun filled day we lit out to fight the traffic to escape Rehoboth boardwalk and make our way over to Annapolis for a night then off to more fun. On a lark we stopped by the hilariously named Crabby Dick's mostly for the fun of it and (as a midwesterner) I wanted FRESH seafood. There is more playing with the name as soon as you enter. Giving you that rolling laughter that carries you all the way through a mostly exhausting dinner. We decided to split the Captain's Catch... so a bucket... yes a bucket of crab legs and spiced shrimp were delivered to our table with a huge platter of some of the best corn on the cob that would have made my Mother (a Sweet Corn Connoisseur) light up. Sarah said this was the right place as soon as she got a taste of the Old Bay seasoned popcorn. Service was fantastic and attentive even though they were very busy at the time. The food I already expressed my admiration for. And the price was about what was expected for a Seafood place/Tourist restaurant. This place started in 1869 so it has been around in name for quite some time and I of course couldn't resist picking up a Crabby Dick's 69 hat. I encourage anyone going through to make this part of your trip. Expect to spend the money... expect to take your time.

I think the gift shop was more exciting then the food quite honestly. The seafood was pretty typical, nothing that really stood out. We tried the crabby balls with seaman sauce..I just about spit it out. The consistency of the crabby balls was a disgusting nightmare of creamy and then they added a creamy sauce on top of it. I devoured the snow crab, but you really can't screw up steaming crab legs. We honestly just went to get tshirts and to have some honorary crab while we were visiting the area. I wouldn't make a habit of going back to this place, just not that special.

  • Josh M.

I'll admit that I was concerned by the kitschy nature of this restaurant. They really take the Crabby Dicks theme to an extreme with the items in the gift shop and some of the menu items. However, I was actually very pleasantly surprised by both the genial nature of all the employees and the quality of the food. My wife ordered the fish and chips and out came the largest piece of fish I had ever seen delivered for such an order. Not only was there ample fish but it was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful ( I had to try some for myself).I ordered the Salmon BLT which was also quite good and well prepared Overall, the waiter was excellent, the knickknacks on the wall added to the charm and we had a great overall experience. Despite being a bit away from the actual beach it was worth the drive and we would definitely go back again.

  • Antonia N.

Not sure why this place doesn't get better reviews. Their hush puppy balls and seaman sauce are soooooo good. I've never had the blue crabs but they know how to steam up some nice snow crab legs. For crab it's pretty affordable but it'd be nice if they included a side with the crab legs. Fun atmosphere and quick service.

This is usually one of my favorite restaurants but not tonight! I ordered carry out, which I have done in the past. We got crab cakes, which were wonderful, as always. We also ordered coconut shrimp. The best part of that dish is the piña colada sauce that comes with it. We got cocktail instead. I would not recommend mixing that with coconut. I also ordered the Bookmark salad, which appears to be their signature salad. The girl who took my order had no idea what it was. It's supposed to have crab and shrimp on chopped lettuce with tomato, olive, cheese and a Greek salad dressing. There were 4 unseasoned shrimp and about a teaspoon of bland crabmeat on top of nothing but old soggy vegetables! Absolutely awful! Finally, we ordered New England Clam Chowder. I don't know what it was! It was so thick and tasted like a floury paste! Disgusting! I've never called a restaurant to complain but I will do so first thing in the morning. There are so many other seafood places in Rehoboth. Do yourself a favor and go to one of them!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAMPOST!!! Ok, the gift shop / waiting area was hotter then outside. I lost 3 pounds sweating and waiting to be seated. We got sat in at a tall table in the middle of the room, that seemed to be route 1 for staff hustling in and out of the kitchen. I could not sit back and relax because I was dipping and dodging waitstaff and moving my body out of the way so they could get by. I just want to kick back, take in the place, relax and eat. But that wasn't the case. I should have been sat out on route 1 in traffic that's how nervous I was. It WAS that bad. Our waitress must have been riding the rag this week, because she didn't even give her name, not greeting, just what can I get you to drink. She would check in with me, as she was passing by and I was dipping my head out of the way so she wouldn't hit me with her over burdened tray of food. She was bland, and obviously wanted to be some where else other then where she was at that night. She can kiss my ass though, cause the only tip she got was the tip I wrote down on the brown paper table cloth "Don't over cook shrimp" There's your tip. I got the combo snow crabs, and steamed shrimp. The crab legs were juicy and perfect. The shrimp on the other hand were way over cooked and thus made peeling impossible. I ate more shell then shrimp. I got tired of peeling hunks of meat with shell attached so decided to abandon ship and hit the road. Figured if I wanted a shitty waitress and shitty food, I'd go to Grotto's. Washed up in the bathroom, this bathroom is so small. I mean if you fart in there, you'll suffer a concussion! Tear this place down, and put a mini golf amusement park there. Or bring back Mark Steele from the lampost to run this dump. I guess I'm forced to give this place one star.

First time there was today. I left my prescription sunglasses in the restroom and one of the employees or patron stole them. I will never be back there again.

Honestly some of the most horrendous food I have ever had in my life. Relative and I went there to see a friend of hers who works there. We ordered a bowl of manhattan clam chowder and bruschetta...both were more or less inedible. We decided to cut our losses and stop there. So many good restaurants in Rehoboth. Why waste your time on this place?

    (1)
  • Daren B.

It was ok. MAJOR tourist trap. To get to your seat you have to walk through the gift shop full of over priced crap. Girlfriend had crabcake which was pretty good and little filler. I had 2 dozen steamed clams for $5.99 a dozen. But it is a tourist trap charging $39.99 for all you can eat crabs that had little meat. You are better off finding a little local stand and eating outside. Unless there is nowhere else to go the place isn't bad, but in Rehoboth there are so many choices you don't have to go here.

  • Laura W.

I would've given this place 4 stars had it not been for the overrated crabby balls. This appetizer was a crab ball that tasted like fishy tuna in a ball, breaded and fried. Certainly an unpleasant surprise after the waitress raved about what a good choice they were. On the other hand, the single crab cake lunch special with 2 sides for 10.99 was fresh, mild, and had that light mild taste of crab I was hoping for mixed in with other scrumptious flavors. Along with it, the green beans and coleslaw met expectations. Another great dish was the Hoss dick with chicken(and added jalapeños). "It was actually REALLY good" were the words of someone with a celebrity chef for a brother. He also said the fries were surprisingly good. For dessert the waitress brought us a brownie ball on the house to compensate for the appetizer. It was delicious. In the future, we would return to Crabby Dicks but order the hushpuppies instead of the crappy crabby balls to start.

One word. Amanda. She's the best waitress! Ever shrimp and crab pasta is delicious. Crab cake sandwich is tasty. As an app we got the crab and artichoke dip taaaaaasttyyy! VOODOO juice is the shit!

My Sister was very excited for me to try Crabby Dick's Crab Balls(must be some of those Delaware Blue Ball crabs) with Seaman Sauce so we went for an early Dinner! The balls were good, the sauce did add a nice flavor to dip them in! I ended up getting a platter with Peel and eat shrimp, corn on the cob and coleslaw which was good. Mom got a crabcake sandwich which she liked. My Mom was treating so I was trying to take it easy on her pocketbook. Crabby Dick's being a touristy seafood type place in a beach resort area is usually pretty expensive but they did have some reasonably priced options. The atmosphere was touristy and fun! They have an extensive gift shop with t shirts and other items displaying mostly lewd commentary and observations about 'Crabby Dick's'...fun to look at!

Horrible Horrible Horrible drinks, but good food. This place might as well hire a contractor to remove the bar entirely because it is useless. I ordered 2 drinks on separate occassions and they were possibly the worst I've ever had. I sent both back and was refunded the money. The seafood is good, but not great. It's chain food quality, so go somewhere else if you're looking for a 5 star restaurant. Again, do NOT order a drink here. You have been warned about the bar.

My boyfriend and I went here on a Monday afternoon for a late lunch. We walked in and couldn't find the hostess station so we basically walked into the restaurant bar area and asked to be seated. We were directed back to the gift shop and the guy finally appeared. We didn't like where he tried to seat us and asked if we could have a booth instead. Now mind you there we MAYBE 8 other tables seated, and the host acted like this was such an outrageous request saying they were really busy. When we did finally get seated we didn't have our drink order taken for nearly 10 minutes. It took another 30 to get our appetizer and our entree. While our waitress was very nice the basic service was terrible. The vegetables were over cooked and the crab cakes we spilt were a little over done and filled with mustard. There are plenty of other seafood places to try down here. I would definitely not go here ever again. Boo

Soft shell crabs at $25 were not tasty, plopped on the plate and not very appetizing. Rockfish tacos were bland. Would NOT recommend.Family-friendly ( noisy kids).

We were at Crabbie Dicks lewes del on Wednesday afternoon. We were kindly treated by the girl who seated us and our waiter could not have better. We ordered crabs and oysters. The oysters were great but the crabs were terrible. They were reheated old crabs. Very light hardly any meat. I would not recommend Crabbie Dicks. Lckop

After arrival, we had high hopes. However, after waiting at the host stand for about 3 minutes with no one there to seat us, our patience levels were dropping. Finally, after being sat, our server greeted us within 2 minutes. He was pretty friendly, but didn't really suggest anything or tell us about any features. The martinis we ordered were anything but enjoyable, though the food was pretty good. After about 2 sips, I couldn't finish my martini. Our server took it back, but did not take it off my bill. I work at a restaurant where if the guest doesn't like their drink (as long as they didn't drink too much of it), they can send it back and get a full refund. Well, not at Crabby Dick's. Anyway, overall, Crabby Dick's will not be my first choice when we return to Rehoboth.

The decor isn't for everyone, and of course the kids snickered at the name, but I found the food to be quite tasty. I would definitely go back. I had mahi-mahi fish with some kind of spicy sauce with pinapple. It was delicious. - On Sundays they have a great mussell deal. The mussells were served in a yummy garlic sauce and were absolutely delicious.

Double entendres every-friggin-where. Yawn. $2 draght beers on Mondays. 1/2 dozen of hard crabs runs between $20 and $25. Friendly but SLOOOOW service, but as a New Yorker maybe I'm just not accustomed to this speed.

If you like salt, Crabby Dick's is your kind of place! Its decor is trash-funk,the music is 70's and 80's rock and pop. The hostess and servers are sweet and helpful which unfortunately does not make up for the mediocre food. Crabby Dicks is the seaside equivalent of Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel, be prepared

YUCK, YUCK, and some more YUCK! Tourist trap, waste of money, and bad management! We ordered some drinks, famous balls to star, raw oysters and clams, the Major Dick, and crab cakes. When we got the raw oysters and clams, we noticed the clams with their shells were the size of half dollars, so the clam meat itself was the size of a quarter...like, TINY necks instead of little necks. However, I was appalled when I when to eat once and I ate a bunch of sand! EWWWWW. I spit the clam back out because there was so much stupid sand. I even left everything intact to show the water how much sand there was...a pool of it left in the shell!! When the waiter checked in, I told him I'm happy to pay for the oysters, but I really can't pay for the sand clams. The waiter went to get the manager, and here's when the fun began... The manager came back out and he told me he took off three whole dollars for my three tiny necks like he was doing me a huge favor. So I just said "ok, that's fine"...but the manager proceeded to say, "You know, we really can't control the sand", with an attitude like I should've been happy to eat the sand with my clams! And that's what pissed me off. His attitude and those words are what made me Yelp. Listen buddy, I wasn't born yesterday. I know you don't have the power of the sand gods to control the sand in your tiny necks. What I DO know, though, is that you DO have the control to shuck the clam and RINSE IT UNDER WATER before throwing it onto a plate. Even if you gave it a once rinse, it would've been cleaner than the crap you put on the plate and served to me. It's not rocket science. It's not a genius move. It's simply the way you serve raw clams. Control that. My entree also came out wrong...instead of the Major Dick, the kitchen brought me the Admiral. And the Admiral's crab legs were dry!! OMFG. They tasted as though they were made in the morning and sat there all day. So gross! I'm all for spending good money on good food and a good time. I ended up dropping over $100 at this place for good crabcakes (that's where I attribute the single star for this review), mediocre shrimp, mediocre oysters, dry crab legs, and sh*tty, sandy, equipped-with-bad-attitude-manager-who-isn't-a-sand-god clams. Hands down, it was one of my worst dining experiences ever!! In the end, people will keep coming to this place because it's got an attractive, outdoor atmosphere that looks like a good chill spot. However, if you want better food and better service, go to Big Fish...OR REALLY, PRACTICALLY ANY OTHER PLACE ON EARTH...instead!!

Loved the food, the cute newspaper menu and gift shop. The play on words thru the night was fun too! Service was great and quick. Soror loved the free popcorn! Definitely worth the 2 hour ride...

Never forget our trip to Crabby Dicks! One of the guys with us thought we were joking when we told him the name of the place....nothing better than king crab legs and a couple of pitchers of the bullet!

Went on a slow night, off-season. Food was sub-par and overpriced. Service was seemingly earnest, yet mediocre. If I could give this restaurant zero stars, I would. Will never go back and would recommend to friends visiting the area to steer clear. Not sure how these folks stay in business.

My friend and I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant after a wonderful day of shopping. Everything was wonderful! I love that they give you popcorn to munch on while you wait. Between the two of us we had mussels, crab and shrimp flat bread, stuff rockfish, twice baked potato and broccoli. Everything was delicious. I can't forget about our awesome server Harry! He was very pleasant and full of energy! He zipped back and forth taking our order, bringing out our food and filling our drinks. It was the best service that I have had at a restaurant in a long time. Thank you Harry! Then we went out into the little souvenir shop and had a pleasure of speaking with another friendly lady. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. I hope Harry is there when we come back and visit!

We go here for lunch on our way down every summer and in the spring or if we go outleting. Yes outleting tis a word. Boosting the economy and not paying sales tax=outleting! Your meal here starts with a bowl of old bay popcorn, and don't be shy if you want some more they will refill you. The Mama and I have it down to a science here, two cups of soup and an order of crab balls. Just get a half dozen unless you are starving. We were actually disappointed the seamen sauce ( which is basically mustard, mayo, vinegar, and the rest of the kitchen cabinet) was a little bland and the balls were not up to their usual standards. Perhaps because it really isn't crab season yet? However, the maryland crab soup ( red) is divine. Perfectly seasoned, fresh not briny at all. My mother thinks it's a little salty, but I think it's perfect. We both agree it is full of vegetables and we taunt each other with ooooh look at this hunk of crab meat mwhahahaha. One of my fave parts is the host, he is this funny guy with a draw and tells us the same shtick every year, here is the ladies, where would y'all like to sit out on theyahh on theahhh porch or inside? y'all enjoy your lunch yah heahhh.....Us Yankee damsels love to giggle over that sort of thing. The decor might be a bit much for some, but I like it. It's over the top yet well done. The menu is still full of double entendres, but if you can get over that....

My parents have been living in Rehoboth for over thirty years. In all that time, they have never, nor do they know anyone, who has ever eaten at this place. In spite of this, my husband insisted on taking my parents and my son and his cousin to this place while we were in Rehoboth last week. I told him it was a long shot, but there had to be a good reason why my parents didn't know anyone who has ever eaten there, because if they did, and it was good, they would know. My husband, ever the academic, stated that the reviews "raved" about the food, and being seafood lovers, we should give it a shot. OK--first off, the name. Never did we ever drive by there since my son could read where he didn't snicker and say "whoah ho ho ho, craaaby diiiicks." I thought, no way could they be referring to a penis...after all, they claim it's supposed to be a family restaurant. See, this is where I was seriously mistaken. From the minute we drove up and saw the mobile catering unit that inquired in six-foot letters, "GOT CRABS?" I giggled nervously and thought, OK, they're being cute, however once we entered the place and I stepped into the gift shop, I knew I had never been more wrong. And the gift shop was just plain wrong. Dozens of hats, t-shirts, ash trays, stuffed crabs--every different pun on the word "dick" that the average Sixth grader could possibly come up with--we were surrounded. Imagine the amusement of my 85-year old parents when they gazed upon a bottle of "Seaman Sauce," that proclaimed we should taste their "crab balls covered in Seaman Sauce." Oh yes, it said that. My father looked at the T-shirt that said "Suck It!" with a picture of a crab leg, and said "Nice." We had to wait, because apparently others who either are gluttons for bad puns and bad taste and even worse food frequent this place. We picked around the gift shop and after about thirty seconds I concluded I would not be caught wearing one of these t-shirts...ever. Once we were seated and they presented me with the menu, I was hoping for the best, trying desperately to overlook the endless inuendos and references to dicks, balls and the like. We had to wait forever for our drink orders, my drink was weak to the point of having virtually none of the alcohol I was desperately needing at this point. While we were waiting for our food, there were no less than four birthday parties who were presented with two scoops of ice cream and a penis-shaped brownie topped with ejaculating whipped cream on top...the children just loved it. I was grateful my 14-year old and his 24-year old cousin didn't need explanations and did not envy the parents who had to explain it all to their inquisitive little kids. The food, in a word, SUCKED. The crab balls that some other reviewer said were the "best ever," were revolting little paste balls with absolutely no flavor. The mussles in white wine and garlic were leathery, far from fresh, had no garlic and some moron decided that parmesean cheese would be good to add to the broth. I had indigestion for hours afterward and the gas that followed was worse. My parents had hockey pucks that claimed to be crab cakes, and cole slaw that was so-so at best. When we got the check and saw that this all came to $172, let's just say that was the icing on the nasty cake we just ate. I don't know who these other reviewers are and where they have eaten or not eaten that would inspire such rave reviews, but let me tell you something...I graduated from the Culinary Institute, I cooked professionally for the better part of fifteen years and I have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in the country. I recently returned from French St. Martin where food is more like religion. So trust me--I know food. And I'm not a prude, and neither are my family members prudes. However, when I go to a family restaurant, I hardly think that the theme should be dicks. But that's just me. And if the theme is dicks, the food better be good. It wasn't. I don't know what would inspire people to use this sort of theme to sell a family restaurant, but they are so far off the mark, I'm not really sure how I could possibly re-direct them.

OK. I've passed this place 100 times on our way down to O.C. and never stopped. Had I known I would have never missed the opportunity for a good meal. This is a quirky joint as it may have been furnished by American Pickers. Nothing really matches yet it works. When you look at the menu and see Crab Balls with Seaman Sauce you're like "what did I get myself into....?" But that is the charm of Crabby Dick's. The service was very good, great specials, portions were good and we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely worth stopping and the Crab Bisque is to die for.

People on the west coast praise seafood from the East Coast, talking about Rehoboth as one of the best seafood spots in the US. Well, Crabby Dicks does not meet the standards. Located right outside of the town, it has the country flavor in everything - from interior design to calling you "hon' ". The menu looks like a newspaper, which is a very neat and original idea. However, it seems a bit too upfront with perverted wording and cartoons. Seafood - I ordered oysters. Quite expensive for 6 oysters, and the plate was filled with ice and some soapy liquid that smelled like chemicals. I was afraid to eat that. I tried, but those oysters did not look fresh, and the soapy thing on the plate was not helping. Seafood basket - it was supposed to be steamed. but it was absolutely overcooked and did not seem fresh either. Besides, it took the kitchen almost 2 hours to steam my mussels, shrimps and crabs! How in the world is that possible? I paid $30 for that basket... NEVER AGAIN!

I can not believe this place! Between the rudest server Jennifer and the server walking thur the dining room with her pants falling off her behind exposing her but with no underware was unbeliveable! The crab legs were cold and when I told my server if we could have another order as they were good, just cold she stared me down and said next time tell me and I would have taken them back! Hello if you would have checked on us instead of you and your waitstaff yacking in the corner about this and that and maybe doing your job, we would have! I will never go back there and pissed that my hard earened money went to this joke of a place! Stay clear please and pass this crappy dicks!

Was in Rehoboth over Memorial Day Weekend. First time there and at Crabby Dicks. Really good. I had the Admirals Catch and my daughter had the Major Dick. After snickering and many jokes we ate. Food was really good and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Loved it. Would Definitely go back!

This place seems to have a bad rep for it's bad seafood judging from a lot of the reviews for this place. I am here to say that I don't agree with them, at least after the food I had! I ordered their crab balls as an appetizer with their seaman sauce (the double entendre's are strong here), and it was fantastic! I ordered just an ordinary run-of-the-mill burger, and it too was pretty decent. I also got a glimpse of some of the deserts they had when the servers gave them to some surrounding patrons, and while I didn't personally try one, they also looked really good! The service here is very friendly, and we even got a chance to have a short friendly conversation with whom I assumed was the owner of the place. All in all, if you're looking for a great family friendly (ignoring the sexual puns plastered all over the store) restaurant with great food, come here!

Crabs for $56 a dozen were horrible! I was disappointed! They were paper shells and steamed for way too long. They were dry and some even smelled burned. Never again. I had too many times where the crabs were not good. Why can't they steam them like The Crab Bag in Ocean City, MD? It is the most popular place for crabs in Ocean City. There is a 45 minute wait to get in because they are so good. Take a page out of their book!

We went here for crabs. It was a bait and switch. They claimed on the phone to have all sizes, including jumbos. We got there and they had to wait a long time after we were seated before the waitress came over. We inquired about the crabs and their sizes and the waitress actually grabbed one off of a table near us with her bare hands to show to us and then gave it back! We ordered jumbos at $99/dozen and they were barely 5 inches wide and the lightest crabs we have ever seen. We live here locally and had a bad experience at Crabby Dicks years back but decided to give them another try because they said they had jumbo crabs and now we realized why we had sworn off this place years ago. We asked to talk to the manager who said they knew the crabs were light and small but that the price was discounted down from $160/doz to reflect it. He said he would discuss our disappointment with the owner but after we waited he said the owner, "John" wouldn't come talk to us. "John" has no business card either. We had the cream of crab soup which was as thick as mayonnaise yet decent tasting. We followed up the meal with a couple of Nicola Pizzas as we left there still quite hungry. This place is a tacky touristy rip off and this time we wont be back.

Tourist trap at its finest. I spent years working at a major tourist trap in Times Square, NYC....I know one when I see it. We were a group of 4 on a sunday evening. We were sat outside but had to move inside because we were being attacked by flies...the flies that wouldnt go away because the servers werent clearing food off of tables... Food was VERY overpriced and VERY mediocre. No one in my party loved their food. We all left dissapointed. Will not return.

New York stripper steak? major dick? beat em off salad? The place definitely has a personality. i saw some other reviews complaining about the names of the dishes but hello....what did you expect when you walked into a place called "crabby dicks".......an upscale 5 star restaurant? All in all it was good but far from great. The service could have been faster and it could have been cleaner but i really didn't expect anything more. The balls with seaman sauce were really good, in fact, probably the best hush puppies i have had. All the seafood was hit or miss. The crab legs seemed to be over cooked which is a no no and the butterfly shrimp were small. On a positive note, the scallops were tasty and the rockfish was really good. I wouldn't make this a must when in Rehoboth cause i am not sure about the other seafood places but you can find some good eats here.

The food was nothing special, but it's hard to enjoy anything when flies keep landing on your hands, arms and food. Disgusting. There are better options in the area.

The soup is amazing!!!! If on the patio i advise using bugspray beforehand. The guy that rated the place badly due to flies landing on him is a douche. The restaurant does not sell flies...it sells food and good food at that.

We were surprised at this place. We were not going to go at first and then I convinced my wife after reading some of the reviews. We were taken back with the decor. Looks like something straight out of the Bayou with mismatched furniture, and crazy ornamentals all over the walls. It was fun. The atmosphere was great and the people were pleasant. Make sure you try the crab balls. My wife and I loved them. If you look around at most hotels have a coupon to get some free, so you can't go wrong with that. I had the fried flounder, and it was delicious! Perfectly done even though you only get one piece, it was a great choice for me. Tasted fresh. And the potatoes and green beans were perfectly done. I was impressed. My wife had the crab and shrimp pasta and she loved it as well. We were glad that we went there. Crazy decor, great balls, solid food choice even though it's a tourist trap.

Really niccce seafood restaurant with an extensive menu which looks to be exclusive to Crabby Dicks. Things like crab balls, corn balls, and other balls of food I cant remember looked good although I didnt try them. A pretzel drizzled with cream, butter, cheese, and crab meat? Yesss! I had the all you can eat crabs for $39... A $39 well spent too might I add... They were cooked steaming hot to order. Not all big #1s but they where all full healthy crabs and the meat was succulent due to the perfect amount of seasoning and steam. I am having a foodgasm just thinking about how hot and good they were (the crabs of course). If you are a seafood head this place will not disappoint. Others at the table had the fried shrimp and steamed clams with zero complaints and empty plates. I personally tasted the crab cake and it tasted like Jesus prepared it. Almost no filler, and all flavor. This would be a 5* spot easily if not for 1 thing... There were soooo many flies I felt like I was outside next to the dumpster eating (without the smell). This didnt bother me much but the table was not happy at all. As for me, I will be back as soon as I can. Definitely a must go... They even had a claw machine for $2 where you can pick your own lobster like those stuffed animal machines!

The place was average. I liked the decor, and the popcorn they brought out. My daughter didn't like the popcorn so much because it had Old Bay sprinkled on it. Also, the snow crab legs had Old Bay seasoning, which would have been good had it been described as such in the menu--so it was a bit spicy to my daughter. The steamed mussels and shrimp were also slightly overcooked. Not bad, but probably not my first choice for a seafood restaurant.

Apparently Big Fish Grill doesn't believe in taking reservations, but does believe that an acceptable wait for dinner is 45 minutes -- with lemonade and Cheez-Its. Meh. So we bailed and went to Crabby Dick's, and left pleasantly surprised. The fish and chips was great, but the cole slaw had a distinct lack of -- what is it? -- flavor. The shrimp and crab pasta was excellent. Fantastic. Worth getting again. Definitely choose the pasta over the fish and chips if you're torn. The complimentary popcorn was a nice touch, and it's really great that a place named Crabby Dick's specializes in balls.

Poor service, half of the balls options were out, watered down house wine, poor draft beer selection. The crab cake was tasty and feast of balls was good. I would not waste my time on this place again. Tourist trap

So I came here to eat after a day at the beach. We got in and sat...... for about 8 minutes..... before anyone really thought to even introduce themselves and offer to take care of us. That really did not sit well with me (thus the review was rated at this amount). With the place not being packed I did not understand the lack of attention. The staff seemed to be running around kind of confused and without direction (kind of like a lost dog just running back and form looking busy). Once we were waited on we got our food rather quickly. For me the hush puppies and fries were awesome. I would definitely show up again for me :) . I had the crab pasta (which was so-so. The crab was kind of cold and I am not sure if it was taken out of fridge or even cooked (me no likey). When we went to pay the bill the waiter stayed over us watching me like a hawk as I put my tip down. I was just like "oooooookaay I mean are you seriously expecting anything at all because I have only seen you 3 times the hour I have been here" The parking lot was packed full; however, we did not have to wait long. The retail was decent. There were some fun shirts and what not. Overall, it was a decent experience. The hushpuppies, speed of service, and nice lady working at retail made the visit much more enjoyable, considering we were dealing with lack of customer service.

We were on the way home after some shopping when we saw the sign for this place. I got super excited and could not wait to try these crabs out. We had the topless clams and an order of Large crabs. Our outdoor table quickly got surrounded by flies and our server told us that he would light a repellent candle for us. We were almost done with the meal when he came back and told us that he could not find a light anywhere. The oysters were bland and the crabs that we payed $35 were not steamed to order and were dry and tasted way below par. We ordered the large once but were told after 20 min that they only had medium once and these were tiny. I will for sure drive past this place next time.

Food is good. Service was a bit slow at first. Menu has a great variety. I tried the surf and turf burger.. the amount of lump crab atop of the patty was colossal! The beef patty could have been seasoned more. Great location, clean bathroom and friendly staff. The AYCE crab special was pricey.

A great place to eat if you are in Rehoboth Beach, DE. The waiter we had could have been a bit more friendly (we were the only people in the restaurant at the time). But they had a great menu and a large selection of seafood and non-seafood (chicken fingers, chicken sandwiches, salads) to choose from for adults and children. They were running a lunch special of 12 (large) shrimp for $5.00 (what a bargain). The shrimp gumbo is a must have and the crab cakes are prepared to your liking. A good place to have happy hour (good list of beverages and appetizers). The gift shop is a must see with lots of Crabby Dick's (CD) shwag. Look forward to going there again on my family trip next year.

REALLY ENJOYED THIS PLACE! Took my mom here yesterday, we were in the area and its been a place ive always wanted to try... so glad we did! First we had a AMAZING waitress, she was great and made recommendations on what is good and what to try she was so on the money! They had a special... $5.99 on Saturdays for a large bowl of steamed mussels in garlic butter, OMG they were great! We also got the spinche and crab dip appetizer for $9.99, very good very cheesy and you could see the crab meat in it. Then we split a crab pot, it has more mussels, steamers, alaskan king crab legs, shrinp and corn... quite a bargain at 29.99. We were so stuffed! I had two delicious cocktails and my mom had 2 as well... bill was $66.00 which was not bad considering all we got. Definately will be back. ALso if u sign up on there web site u get a free dinner (worh $15.00) the month of your birthday. Great place, great atmosphere, great service, great food!

Shame that this place went down hill!! From wrong order delivered to our table, wrong orders on the food we ordered, wait time was extensive. After a morning of clamming, we decided to stop in at Crabby Dicks for lunch. Ambiance: Casual, average beach-type restaurant. There's patio seating available and a large full bar inside. Food: Everything we ordered was average. I had the hamburger where the patty came out too well done and flavorless. The bun tasted grocery bought and it didn't satisfy my burger craving. The buffalo wings were on the spicy side and were almost drenched in sauce. The creamy crab soup also didn't have enough crab flavor. The crab pretzel was the only dish that was acceptable. The pretzel was soft and had plenty of crab and cheese spread on top. Service: Our waiter was definitely not on top of things. We had to ask for our drink refills each time and none of the specials were explained. Overall: The food was okay to satisfy our hunger but I won't return.

PROS - food is varied so their is something for everyone- prices range from inexpensive to expensive - waitresses are quick and curteous - wonderful popcorn is served when you first enter ---- during the week $5 appetizers which they have many many choices CONS- while sitting outside may appear nice at first - the flies are frequent visitors - so if you eat outside you will be using one of your hands to swat away flies while the other is used for eating --- I have been disappointed with the higher priced entered

Popped in today because my mom wanted some seafood before we headed home... Sat for 15 minutes without even a waitress coming to the table but there were plenty of employees walking around, putting paper covers on tables and hanging in the bar area. Decided it was best to go somewhere else and to my surprise the hostess that sat us 15 minutes prior asked - how was the meal???? I would recommend that you pass on this place.

On the front end, what does this rating mean? Well, ***** means awesome, not to be missed, as good as it gets. **** means a recommendation worthy of a friend, a very good restaurant, one of the best in its category. *** means solid-- i won't go wayy out of my way to go to such a place, but there's no complaining either. If your friends want to go, you go. ** means, resist this restaurant, even under gentle peer pressure but go if you have to. * means to go on and be an @#@$ and tell folks that hell no, you won't go and that you'd rather have dinner with Marie Cavender or a the golden arches. This is a * restaurant. Just say no, just go to the food court, do what you gotta do, exercise veto power but just don't go. Ol' Del R loves crabs. Looking for them at the market, catching them, eating 'em, the whole nine yards. Earlier today, my buddy from MD wanted to grab some seafood on his way out of town. I tried to gently steer our party to another restaurant because of the bad yelp reviews here, but the location was convenient. I mean, how bad could it be??? The intense number of dead flies and live ones buzzing about in the window near the table where we originally sat were probably not a good sign. The service took forever, and my crabcakes, the mashed potato sides, and the green beans were room-temperature cold. Impressive that deep fried crabcakes could still be served cold. The green beans were also limp and yellowish and not in a gourmet sort of way. When I told the server, they popped it in the microwave and brought it back out again. It was full of shell. I think I've had better at military chow halls I've visited, if that tell you anything. My wife's steamed shrimp were weird as well. They wouldn't come out cleanly from their shells-- freezer burned perhaps?

We decided to give it a try and get some blue crabs despite all the negative reviews. The crabs that they had at the time were only medium, so I opted for the blackened rock fish. The fish was saturated in oil, just awful. The waiter kindly offered to replace it, but the broiled version was not good either - overcooked and bland; didn't even taste like rockfish. Won't be coming here again, but gave it two stars for the clever menu titles and fun atmosphere.

An intersting place, great to get some souviners. Its a fun place, yummy ample portions. You can write on your place mat. I noticed a lot of people having fun at the bar. You get some spicy popcorn instead of bread and butter which is different and fun.

Popcorn comes at the beginning of the meal, which were addicting. I had their 5.99 mussels special! Mmmmm~ I was happy happy with my choice. My sister had the crabcake sandwich, which she said was nom nom nommy. I created a beautiful mural with the crayons provided on the brown paper tablecloth~ I would come back again! Very kitschy and fun for the area.

This place is perfect. Always order anything with a sexual innuendo as the name and go for the crabs, duh. The fish and chips is just one huge fish and some fries, just to warn you though. Still good, though.

Crabby Dicks was our first meal on a summer Rehobeth jaunt and a lunchtime disappointment, perhaps made all the worst by the long drive that preceded it. We found the service inexcusably slow, taking more than 20 to 30 minutes (made longer by hungry children) for our food to arrive. The waitstaff were friendly enough but the food just took too long in what seemed like a mostly empty restaurant. The kid's chicken fingers was more fries than anything else and the over-priced snow crab roll sounded like an innovative idea but was a soggy mess. While it may be a good joint for an evening of crabs and beer, Crabby missed the mark for a kid-friendly pre-beach lunch.

I haven't had the opportunity to be seated in the restaurant, but I've been here several times to sit in the bar area. The service at the bar is very friendly and attentive. Beer selection may be a little more limited than other places in town, but the deals are much better! $1 PBR all the time. They also have good afternoon food specials, and free old bay popcorn at the bar (yum). I always feel really comfortable here and love to stop on my way home from the beach or shopping.

We stopped by for nosh during happy hour and were pleasantly surprised! Positives: - Yay for the hot popcorn delivered by the waitress right away! Very aggressively salted and seasoned with Old Bay(?) to encourage more booze consumption, but it was good! - Cheap booze! - The crab balls had really good crab flavour. They're slightly more dense with more binder than what you'd find in a good crab cake, and from what I can tell were made from backfin instead of lump/jumbo-lump. But I guess that's the trade off you have to make to get the almost-spherical shape to survive the fryolator. Negative2: - Crab salad sandwich was a bust. The bread was slightly stale and the crab salad was horribly bland and in need of seasoning. The crab meat is definitely in there, but some how it just doesn't make its presence known. The contrast between the cheaper crab balls and the crab salad probably didn't help it either. - The bad puns. Bimbo lounge? Cocktails named "Seymour Dicks"? Ugh. Horrible, but I guess it'll stop to matter after a few drinks. Service: 4.5 stars, Food: 3 stars. It's not haute cuisine, but it's some place I'd definitely stop by again!

I like the one in Rehoboth....This place has a nice family friendly atmosphere with pretty decent seafood. Friendly staff...The prices aren't bad either.

Food was great. They had soft shell crabs which are hard to come by. Our server did not mention the special they had on half-price drinks and $5 appetizers. We overhead him telling the next table after we received our food. Also, he was difficult to find towards the end of the meal.

Left with my wife and kids after sitting for 35 minutes and not getting waited on. Asked the hostess and still got nothing. Crappy Dicks is more like it. Go into town and try one of the non-tourist trap places. Avoid.

If you would have told me that I would be eating at Crabby Dick's on Valentine's Day, I would have... well, let's just say, this wasn't a planned stop. Daughter and I were on traditional shopping excursion to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We happened to talk with a check-out person at one of the outlets. We like to query locals about good restaurants and we just happened to ask where she liked to eat. It was Valentine's Day eve. She said we'd have trouble getting in any place without a reservation unless we went to the all night diner, OR Crabby Dick's. (I know.) She said they were both good. Driving down the highway in the dark, we passed the diner and were heading for a u-turn to go back and try again when we saw Crabby Dick's straight ahead. The parking lot was crowded and we were tired. We said, "what the heck." After a short wait, we were seated and pleasantly surprised at the service and the food. If you can get around the silly atmosphere and the crazy t-shirts in the gift shop, you can have a reasonably priced dinner. Great sweet tea, wonderful mussel appetizer (1/2/ price), and a great oyster po' boy. I would definitely go back.
